Yes, here it is a Malaysia LEGO mini fair starting from now 25th Nov 2011 till 1st Jan 2012, organized by our local Toys R' Us with LEGO distributor. Featuring some 12 feet tall Santa Lego Figures and also a city landscape diorama not to be miss by both collector and non collector alike.

Also there will be some LEGO products that on sales at 50% off retail like ATLANTIS, TOY STORY 3, Prince and Persia and many many more. What more are you waiting for, see those pics below and get over there and enjoy.

Storm Rider # 601th + 不滅刀

Next on the 5 Inch Limited Edition Weapon sword letter opener in issue 601th of the Storm Riders Comics or AKA Tian Xia / Tin Ha / Pedang Setiawan, is the 不滅刀 (Immortal Blade - as translate by google) which feature now in a new Story Arc.

If only the publisher also provide the sword with a display stand then it would look so good like in the photo below.

The box packaging is similar with the previous sword except that the sword design is feature on it, similar yet difference, the font use for the sword name is also difference.

2 of the 4 new sword has been released, 2 more to go. Next sword would be interesting.

Haul - Shin KenKi (Demon Sword)

New 1/6 scale samurai sword series by Charazo (http://charazo.jp) named SHIN KENKI vol.1 release early July. Assortment case comes in set of 10 plus 2 secret, total 12 design in all. They are 15-20cm long, made from Stainless steels and PVC.

They are blind packaging so you wont know which you be getting and if you are lucky you might find a secret sword (which is not feature on the box packaging).

Each box is with plastic blister to hold all the sword and also the display for the sword. There also a backdrop with quote and a red piece of "mat" for the display. Very nice accessories.

The sword (Katana) are not assemble as usual with this kind of series, so as to gave collectors the opportunity to enjoy the detailing part and sword assembly technique.

See the detail on Katana's Nakago in the photo above. That is the mark / signature of the sword maker found in samurai sword. Interesting, time to assemble the katana.

The reversed side of the backdrop tells a history of the Katana as well as its Weider and some quote on them so as to understand more about this particular katana.

Once fully assemble and with its backdrop and red carpet, time to put it up on display. Got me a plastic display case which is just long enought to fit the katana. Awesome, waiting for vol 2 now.

Medicom Be@rBrick Series 22 - Haul

This year am slowing down and hopefully will be able to stop getting case of Be@rBrick. With the release of series 22 recently, i've only manage to get a selected few instead of a case. Passing the opportunity of getting Hidden bear and others.

The release of series 22 also mark a new milestone for Medicom toys as they have change the font of the Basic bear series to a new font type. Guess with 20+ so basic color being release, they probably need to think of someway to keep the basic line interesting.

The packaging for series 22 is a bright yellow theme box (which reminds me of 'BERSIH 2.0). Anyway i've manage to get what i most wanted from this series and that is the GREEN LANTERN from Hero Theme. Lucky me and also Lighting Mcqueen and BARS. Still thinking to get UNO patter theme or not.

Front View of Mcqueen, Green Lantern and Bars. Bars is very interesting as the back portion of the head is transparent blue. This is because its a effect of glowing blue star at the front when the bear is held up in front of a lighting source, very nice.

Rear View of the bear, take note on the Bars with blue head. Nice.

Star Wars Mighty Beanz!

New arrival for MIGHTY BEANZ, Star Wars theme. Got me some 4 pack assortment hoping to complete the set as much as possible.

Each case box comes with 6 pack of 4 pieces each. Each pack of 4 will consists of 1 visible beanz and 3 hidden beanz inside so as not to know what u be getting. Sort of like partial blind packaging.

Colorful packaging with STAR WARS logo as main theme and the Mighty Beanz logo as secondary theme. SW beanz graphic accompany the packaging well but i do not know why there a clone trooper on the top right side?

The rear packaging shows a little info on the new series and says "Collect all 60 Star Wars Mighty Beanz and discover the power of the Force!". Have a feeling that i'm almost there, i can feel the force.

After 30min, all are open and reveal, darn these Beanz are awesome, the quality and graphic arts are greats, Here are some of them...

The rebels and Jedi's and Queen Amidala (which i was told to be Ultra Rare). How true is that i do not know?

This is my favorites bunch of Beanz, the Sith Lord of the dark side with various type of Trooper. More pics and info in future post. Cheers.

Something new just arrived at our shore, Moose's MIGHTY BEANZ is seen now at our local Jusco store featuring STAR WARS character. For those not in the know, Mighty Beanz has been around since 2004 and with their initial cartoonist properties which later also feature other licensing properties like Marvel, TMNT, Simpson and Pokemon.

Mighty Beanz was later re-launch at 2010 with all new series 1 properties and now with series 2, all new Marvel line, Disney Pixar's Cars and STAR WARS.

Star War Beanz is sold in a pack of 4 and is retailing at RM$ 22.90 each pack with 1 visible beanz and 3 hidden beanz. Total of 60+ beanz to collect that range from Common, Rare and Ultra Rare Beanz in them.

With having so many Beanz, where do u store it if no other then the Star Wars Beanz collections case which feature DARTH VADER and the Millennium Falcon. Optimus Prime is ALIVE!

An almost life size Optimus Prime from the the upcoming movie Transformers 3 : Dark Of The Moon (DOTM) made its appearance in 1UTAMA new wing recently. The event was held in conjunction with the release of the TF3 movie in June 2011. Oh, there Bumblebee too, but i ignored him for now..

Prime stand tall at 20 feet high (6m) if not mistaken, comes with light up eyes. Off course he is static and not movable. Tons of fans and lookers took the opportunity to snap some pics with the heroes.

Ok so now there these display cases where in them its Bumblebee x many many more of him in difference forms and series and size. The the classic series, the Animated, pretender and tons more. The case below showcase Non movie related Bumblebee, whereas..

The 2nd display case of bumblebee are those related to the movie in all forms and series and size in its glories. Not to mentioned that its ALL Yellow! IN color.

The event also showcase other Transformers toys in its own categories (sorry, didnt get pics on those as too many ppl blocking the view) and also some talk, demos and Q&A sessions.Hope to have more of these type of event in the future. ..cheers.

Gokaiger Ranger Keys - Part 1

Bandai Celebrating its Super Sentai 35TH Anniversary with its Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger series, now releasing Gashapon RANGER KEY series 1 in Jaya Jusco and selected Toys' r Us store nationwide. Each is 200 yen (RM 8) for a Capsule (Gasha) featuring 16 Sentai Character.

Feature Ranger in series 1 is

# 1 - 5 : Gokai Red, Blue, Yellow, Green and Pink
# 6 -10 : Bouken Red, Magi Red, Deka Red, Aba Red, Gao Red

The packaging, each capsule comes with a sticker sheet and a 3 part Ranger Key, namely the Head, Body and leg. Minor assemble and sticker applying is needed.

Bandai - Super Henshin MoriBakuru 1

Before there was MoriBakuru 2, there was Moribakuru 1, link to Series 2.

This series 1 comes with the first 6 design and each design like in series 2 also comes with 4 color each namely, Blue, Yellow, White and Black.

The 6 design are.. Dog, Tiger, Shark, Fish, Horse, Bird and Deer, great for learning kanji and fun to transform.

Full color feature of Vol 10 has been release together with the packaging box. Looking very very good i must say, another must have all series this is for me as well. The 1 head that was not shown in my previous posting and is now appear here is KR Garren (Jack form).

Some limited online web exclusive head shown above is the 5 piece set Shocker Rider head, each with difference color scarf. (Previously a yellow scarf Shocker head secret in vol 7). Also is the 3 head exclusive release for old metal hero head like Kikaider, Hakaider and etc.

Androids - Mini Collectible 2

Android the official Mascot for mobile phone application of the same name release series 2 of its Android mini collectible. An additional of 15 new design by popular designer but only 11 are regular and 4 are secret which only available 1 secret to a case of 16 blind boxes. They are 3 inch in height each and at 1.5 inch diameter.

Blind boxes are seal and with foil wrapper in side, so even if you peek open the boxes, you still wont know which design you will have. Since all are the same shape and made, weight guessing on selected design also are impossible.

Each box cames with a collector checklist sheet that highlight all the available design and secret (which still remain secret). I've only got the Iceberg, Neon green and ....

One of the feature of the Android is that its movable on both hands, the head and also the head can be taken off to reveal empty compartment to put in small items. In my case, i put in the checklist sheet in it.

Thanks my lucky stars that i also manage to get a Secret Android name Chocolate Cupcake on my 4th purchase. This secret is related to the regular release called the Cupcake (Vanilla) because both of these cupcake has got Smells of Vanilla and Chocolate respectively. Awesome and since they are seal wrap in foil, there no way to smell them out too.

So go try them out and good luck.

Lego Mini Figure - Series 4 (Haul)

DAH SAMPAI!!!

Yes everybody, Lego Mini Figure series 4 has landed at Toys R' Us locally and you might want to go check them out now. Price at RM 9.90 each and they won't stay long at the counter. Grabs yours now right away. Most popular are the Scientist, Viking, Musketeer and Hazard guy.

Lego Mini Figure series 4 Box case and single pack are feature in Orange and its nice. Nothing difference from others series besides the color and photo. Some of the pack didn't even have Embossed dot to them but then again, if there is, those cheat code found only can't be use as its not US release market.

As usual, the series catalog came pack in each packing and showcase the 16 figures that comes in this series and with its accessories.

After few hours of driving around difference Toys R US and pressing pressing, those below is what i got so far... now i only need a Viking, Ware-wolves and Ice Hockey player to complete my wants for this series. Each figures is distinguishes to its own, like Scientist had a rubber hair, kimono gals had printed flower on its hair, hazard guy got huge headpiece and many others.

RMC Best Selection 1 & 2

Ok here the deal with Bandai, we now have the Best Selection Series for the Rider Masked Collections. A series of re-release of previous head from various volumn plus 1 new head never release before. To me, there both pros and cons to it, the pros is that collector and get those that they miss out last time and no need to pay premium price for it. Cons is that collector need to get it for the 1 NEW heads in the series.

Here the Lineup for Vol 1 of Masked Best Selection, the new Masked is KATAKIRIBA Combo from KR OOO. Time of release is around June 2011.

Here the Lineup for Vol 1 of Masked Best Selection 2, the new Masked is KR ETERNAL from KR W(Double) Movie A-Z. Time of release is end of the year.

Personally, the only masked i need from those 2 vol is the new masked and also Rider Black.

Got my vol 9 of Rider Masked Collections and am having no regret in getting a complete set with a slightly higher price rather then taking my chances with blind boxes. The rare piece from this vol.9 would be the Auto Vajin and Skull Rider, off course the Secret would be rarest of the 2.

Typical looks of the case packaging and no difference then previous only having the difference head pics on them.

Single box packaging is as colorful as always and this time having Rider Accel and Zeronos's Zero forms on top and on front packaging will have Double Xtreme form with Faiz's Axel From

Let the cat out from the box and we have here below is Movie Rider from Kabuto Movie, Caucasus, Ketaros and Hercus.

Next we have Agito, Gaoh and Zeronos from Den-O

2 readily Assemble Head from this vol is the Orga and Auto Vajin and they looks awesome!! The other 2 being Psyga and Axel Faiz.

The remaining heads are from KR Double which is the Luna Trigger Form, Extreme Form, Accel Rider and Skull Rider. Liking the Skull with the hat.(Hat are made from hard rubber - not bendable)

This week saw the latest release from Hasbro Transformers : Generation series. As am eyeing for the ThunderCracker to complete my seekers plane with StarScream and Skywarp, guess this is mission accomplish. As for the WheelJack, one of my favorites G1 character so that a must get too. I don't know why warpath is so over-rated, guess to each its own kua.

Blame it all on Mattel for having a warehouse sale at the most desirable time and i like it. After not having bought anything figuring related for some time, the sales come at the right time. On the 1st day, lots of stuff was snap up FAST! and i mean FAST like Flash. DC Universe 6 inch figure was limited quantity and in just (dare i say it) less then 30min after the sale starts. Others like Hot wheels, Toys Story3, Pixal cars, Barbie also going strong and were snap up fast too.

Here are some of the stuff i manage to grab there which is not diecast hot wheels related which i be featuring in my other blogs. Will go in depth of the figures in my future posts. Cheers.

Mini Gundam Figure

Found some of my old collections during house clean-up, got them some few years back from Toys R Us. They are the Gundam Mini Figurines that come in blink packaging and come with a suger candy. Each pack some with a catalogue for the series, a circular base and Mobile suit from various Gundam series. Some assembly is needed for some but not all.

These figurines come in silver painted finished and very nicely in detail, given the fact that they are very very small in size which is approximately around 6cm average in height. With blind packaging, there are secret or chase version in each series where the Gundam pieces in painted in either blue or red in color instead of silver, never did find any of those.

Some of my favorites are the Gundam itself and the GP03 DENDROBIUM are my all time favourites as it was consider one of the rare pieces in the series.

I think now they are no longer in release as i know that time TRU only sold 2 series and that about it. Now to look back, they do look awesome for their sizes.

Lego series 4 is schedule to release in mid 2011 with 16 new mini figures with theme from sport to music, from city to monster, from fantasy to many more. Keep an eye out for them soon.

Packaging for series 4 will be in orange color as shown above and from the looks of it, those that i wanted will be the common pieces in the assortment, yeah. :)

Figure line up for series 4 will be as above and am looking forwards to them. I got 6-8 pieces that i be interested in getting and hope will be able to get them when they release.

Yes, found this piece unexpectedly in my weekly toys sightseeing. This is the 5.5 inch version of the new 天下無雙 "TinHa MoShion" Sword that was release few years back together with a Graphic novel or comics (can't remember, too long liow). Excellent additions to my 5.5inch collections.

Front packaging. Don't know why the box is so big when its only 1 sword inside.

Back packaging showing "Khim Seng" Sword Saint both old and young and also Wind and Cloud on both sides. The arts not to my liking, dunno who is the artists doing it.

Yes folks, great news for Lego and non Lego fans a like. Series 3 of the popular Lego Mini Figures are out now at Toys R' us and is selling for RM9.90. Same price as series 1 but with series 2, it was price at 12.90!. Series 3 spot a lime green color packaging.

With an ALL NEW 16 character to choost from and buy. Luckily manage to get what i wanted in series 3 but have to wait n see if there still be other that i might get. Both Samurai and eLF have elude me far too long and hope will find it.

In the packaging include a mini poster catalogue to keep track of what available

One Piece - Thousand Sunny

One Piece, a very popular japanese t.v. animation that has been showing for years in japan and around the world. Manga, toys and others related merchandised have also been selling like hot cakes. I personally do not follow the series and do not know what its all about besides that there's pirate character named Luffy with rubber like limps and the tv series has over 500 episode to date.

Found the Thousand Sunny Candy toys series on sales and it actually looked very good and decent and at an affordable price. So got it for my curiosity and collections. This was what turn out after assembly and looking very cool indeed with some moving feature and miniature characters.

This series was release in 2009 and to complete the series there are 5 difference parts / components to buy in order to complete assembly the Thousand Sunny. Off course each part will have its playability feature and miniature color figurines for display.

Each part of the box come color coded as well as label and picture that tell you which part are in which boxes and so on as shown the those photo below and above

The side packaging also shows how each part form which area of the thousand sunny. Besides that it also show the individual part with its feature like shooting cannon, rotating hatch, boat launcher and others.

Finally the back packaging show an overall product view of individual and combines part of the Thousand Sunny. Measuring in size of the Thousand Sunny at 250mm high x 240mm length.

A great buy if you can find all 5 part to complete the Thousand Sunny. Cheers

DC SUPER HERO - DOOMDAY

The latest release of a Special Size Edition to Eaglemoss DC super hero Collection in Malaysian market just recently is Doomsday. Costing at RM $54.90 a piece and is a heavy weight piece too, comes with a Magazine featuring Doomsday and also Doomsday lead Figure showing Doomsday grabbing Superman's cape ( a scene where Doomsday defeated and killed Superman in the classic Doomsday storyline in Comics)

The Lead figure is very well sculpt and painted. Although some small details remains unseen but the overall work put into it is very well done and brings out the characters. Because the figure is made from LEAD, be sure to wash your hand after handling them.

MEDICOM BEARBRICK Series 21 - Haul

The long awaited post of series 21 of Medicom's Bearbrick is now here. Manage to grab a box case from my local shop but before that already "tikam" "tikam" some individual boxes but sadly no hidden or special bear to be found. The box packaging for series 21 is Crimson Red in color and the size is now reduce back to its original packaging size as before series 20.

As usual, the only way to open a case box is right at the bottom, don't ask me why, but i think its probably to the box condition good. Once open 24 individual boxes in front of me to slowly open one by one.

Individual boxes with same design like the rest of the previous series with only series name and picture for the series to be difference and also the box packaging color.

Finally ALL open and reveal, and the case has got me a complete set of Normal bear and very minimum hidden bear. Confirm in each case will have 3 pcs of Tron bear but will only complete 1 pair and 1 extra single tron. The Batman Bear is awesome! glad i have him. Twin Peaks bear changes color with water and Basic bear have a very crimson red color. Pattern Bear is a must have for Prodigy fans which feature logo from Prodigy new album call "Invaders must die". Other is just so-so but worth to complete the set.

These here are the gems of all gem, some of the Hidden Bear and Secret bear for this series 21. Top is from Artist MARK WADE featuring a transparent body with graphic and head of a basketball. Next is Superman, the hidden bear counterpart to Batman. This is only one per case of 24 pcs. The last hidden bear is from the Kapel's Ladybug character, goes well with the Honey Bee character when display side by side.

Yes, with the release of Vol. 7 of the Rider Masked Collections, i've completed all the Masked for Kamen Rider Ryuki series. All 16 of the masked was release sequentially since vol 1 to vol 7. The hardest to get is probably Ryuki Survive and Ryuga Masked.

RHS - Kamen Rider RYUKI

Started watching Kamen Rider again when i stumble upon the 1-shot of "Kamen Rider Ryuki : 13 Rider" vcd by accident. From there on, i was hook by the series and the new unique design of all the rider feature in the show. Later on, i found those RHS (Rider Hero Series) Sofubi in departmental store which was selling at RM39.90 each! That was in 2002 and was slowly accumulating them 1 by 1. Finally complete them all in 2005 with the last figure of RYUGA which i got it from Singapore.

Now i present the complete (excluding Japan Limited editions) Kamen Rider Ryuki RHS. Consisting of all the 13 riders, 1 Alternative Zero, 2 Survive Mode rider, 2 Blank Form rider and a 2pcs boxset Special Editions.

Front View of the packaging (Japan version) with numbering from 41-47 (for Ryuki series). Number 40 and below belongs to previous Show (Previous RHS post ). Each packaging showcase the Rider photo and its name on it. Plastic windows on the packaging also show 3/4 of the rider figure in it, which allow collector like me to choose the figure with the best paint job. With a $40 price tag on it, i wanna get the best looking Rider without defect.

The limited edition 2 pack consisting of Ryuki VS Ryuga was an unexpected find. Wasn't sure to get it then but am sure glad i did. Ryuki in this boxset feature a transparent Red as compare to the single box which is solid red. The Ryuga is a variant of the single box where the shoulder shield is attached. Both Ryuki and Ryuga comes with its Sword.

The Ohyja Blank form is a limited edition whereby it is grey in color. In the movie, Ohyja card deck was destroy thus killing its contract monster and revert Ohyja to its Blank form.

Am glad that ive manage to complete this series and am satisfied with the result. Once display, they looks stunning. Kamen Rider Ryuki would be my favorite rider series. Thanks for looking.

Spawn : Blood Axe + ThunderHoff

Once upon a time and not so long ago in 2002, McFarlane toys release in its Spawn series 22 which feature a Dark Age theme of the VIKING AGE. Comes a deluxe boxset which comprises a Viking age spawn by the name of BloodAxe together with his steed name Thunderhoff.

BloodAxe spawn stand 6 inch tall with articulation on neck, shoulder, elbow, wrist, waist, hips, knee and feet. Comes with a shield and Spike mace as accessories. Capable of riding Thunderhoff with ease.

ThunderHoff comes at 9inch in length from head to tail. Articulation on all 4 legs, hoof and neck. Comes with saddle, head masked and others.

One of the best series release and with demand until now. Attentions to Detail and sculp are simply phenomenon and awesome at that time and still is today. Hopefully Mcfarlane toys will product spawn figure again in the near future. Until then, cheers.

TRANSFORMERS - Generation 1 Blaster

Transformers GENERATION 1 Blaster was recently re-issue as an Exclusives to Toys'R Us a few month back. What hold me back from getting it was the retail price which i think is far too expensive (MYR $230.00). First of all, large and fancy packaging is not needed and also what made thing worst is that the product pics wasn't shown. Not everybody know what a Blaster is in G1.

After taking off the 1st layer of packaging then only reveal what a Blaster looks like and both pics from front and back packaging are the same. I kinda like the recent series of Generation where the actual toys Pic are feature at the back of the packaging with its robot and alternate modes.

We finally see the actual product after flipping open the box cover which reveal the photo (left) and window showing Blaster (right).

On the left (photo of blaster in robot and alternate modes with its cassette counterparts in cassette and alternate mode. (Now i know why they are not feature at the back of the packaging. Blaster with Steeljaw, Ramhorn and Eject. Now where is Rewind?

And on the right side a window box showing the actual toys in robot modes and with its 3 cassette also in its alternate robot/animal mode. Again, no wonder the box is huge, blaster is package in its Robot modes unlike Soundwave which was package in its alternate mode.

We can see all the weapons, Cassette and Blaster neatly package together in the box and hoping that it not big to justified paying a high price for it. Overall a nice set to complete with Soundwave and other G1 characters coming in soon. Chhers.

As some of you know, Kamen Rider RYUKI was being Americanize and will be known as Kamen Rider Dragon Knight. A show that was aired in Japan in 2003 has now been showing in 2009 in the West. And with it comes a new toy line franchise for this series by FIGMA.

Figma is something like Revoltech and SHFiguarts figure with poseable joints and are in around 4-5 inch tall and comes with base and accessories. This post will reveal the first 4 rider from the show, rumours has it that all rider will be release but i'll wait n see.

Its was finally reveal and found by collector all over the world the secret bear for series 21. A total of 8 secret bear for this series. For those not in the known, secret bear are those random inserted bears not shown on the packaging and in only in short productions.

Ryuki Survive Rider Masked Collections

Finally, finally!!! i got my hand on the very last piece of Rider Masked Collection for the RYUKI series. Now i can boldly says that i've completed all 16 pcs rider from the Kamen Rider Ryuki series aka Kamen Rider Dragon Knight as it is known to the west. My last piece happens to be Kamen Rider Ryuki SURVIVE form from series 7.

Kamen Rider Ryuki Survive is one of the hardest Rider masked for series 7 to be release. My initial 3 cases didn't have it so i resort to the last possible way to get it. Thru EvilBay, luckily found one at decent price plus shipping and the rest is history.

The Ryuki Survive Masked is very well done, the color gold is spray / painted evenly and without smear or leak. The sculpt is marvelous and true to it form and accurately detail. Had a hard time putting it together at 1st but once you got it, it looks awesome. Simply one of the best release.

With the completion of Kamen Rider Ryuki series, now looking forward to complete KR Kabuto, KR Faiz and KR Blade series.

Remember last year Super Sentai series Samurai sentai ShinKenger which its Shinken-OH was made up of moji origami animal. Well now there a similar product that Bandai is releasing called the "CHO HENSHIN - MORI BAKURU" series 2

Its actually Chinese/Japanese Character that transform into what the character is. 6 design to choose from and with 4 color in each design (Purple, green, yellow and black). Character are based on land animal, insect or sealife.

So in series 2, design available is WOLF, BULL, TURTLE, SHARK, KABUTO & DRAGON. Simply amazing and can't wait to find them on shelves. These would be release in japan mid december with the price tag of 100yen each. Since they are candy toys, expect a candy in them.

My last post posted the official series 21 photo with a few unknown. Now we have the final confirmation of what coming out for series 21. Harry Potter seem to be out from series 21 and at the same time, there is a new Theme which is called HERO. Batman is where the HERO theme will be for and this is very exciting, we will be getting DC universe heroes character in Bearbrick. With Green Lantern movie just round the corner will it be secret or will we see more classic character like Superman, Flash, Wonder Women and others. In the last series 20, we have Ironman and War Machine in the SF theme, hope to see more Marvel character.

Also for the 1st time, 2 regular BearBrick release in a single Theme in SF as we see 2 Tron (DAFT PUNK) at the same percentage. Series 21 have lot of new changes and it looks promising. Cant wait for this series to be release. Cool.

Transformers : Generations releases DIRGE! the 3rd and final conehead seekers of Decepticons. Dirge was initially release as an Exclusive by Takara Tomy last year together with Thrust, somehow Hasbro now got the right to release both of them in mass market. Goodies for us that can't afford to get Exclusives, bad for those that pay premium price for the exclusive that have now become non-exclusive.

Lego Mini Figurines 2

Lego Mini Figurines series 2 only available exclusively at selected Toys R Us. Price at RM12.90 each, an increase of RM3 from series 1. Series 2 offer 16 Lego figures to collect from blind packaging that do not tell you what's inside the packaging. Sort of like trading figures from japan where collector try their luck in buying the pack and see what they've got, and trade them with friends and collectors alike to complete the set.

The figures comes un-assemble and with a black base and a catalog with all the figure feature in the series.

Figures that i've got are shown below :-

From left to right : Vampire, Pharaoh, Surfer Dude, Witch and MIME artists.

Miss out on series 1 as it was all sold out, hope to find some when i',m able. Also series 3 might be coming early next year so stay tunes for news.

Haul - Masked Collection Vol.8

Got this vol 8 set from a friend's friend that happen to do bulk purchasing. The series got delay in local market for almost 1 month. Luckily for me, my friend was able to get hold of a complete set for me inclusive of secret at an affordable price. No more buying multiple blind boxes and end up with unwanted pieces.

The box packaging for this series is white in color which i think its because Fang/Joker masked was on it to compliment the color contrast. Again on the side of the box shows all the masked that is available in the series.

Case box packaging nothing difference then before, only the photo show are those in vol.8

Yes, this is the secret masked from vol.8 which is the baddies for Rider X series called APOLLO GEIST (below pic at top). Apollo made guest appearance in Rider Decade tv Series. guess that why he was in this series and as a secret.

Storm Rider 9 inch Sword

The STORM RIDER aka FUNG WAN aka TIAN XIA aka PEDANG SETIAWAN are a few names associates with Mah Wing Seng comic book creations. Some of its 9 inch Sword Collections made from Die-cast Metal and with wooden box casing. Its 1st release only 7 sword from the popular comics book series in the early 90's then gradually extended to 10 sword currently.

The World Greatest Sword is in glossy black, i don't know what material its made from but look like porcelain or metal covered in black paint.

The Hero sword looks like a typical Chinese sword with its sword sheath. Both are die-cast metal .

The following above is the DESTINY SABRE aka "TIAN MENG"yield by "Mo Tian Xia" a new sabre that appear in the comics 4th story arc. Nemesis to the DEMON KING SABRE.

The Tian Meng sabre cames in 2 version, the original version (Left) which is gold/ black in color and Special version which is the silver / blue in color (Right).

Both the Sabre and sheath are made from die-cast metal and are the heaviest among all the 9 inch sword series.

The following Sword are the new Generation after Wind and Cloud era. The "Lonely" Sabre" yield by "San Fung" (left) and "Loser" Sword yield by "Nie Fung" (I know direct translation of chinese name can sounds so weird)

Both the Lonely sword and Loser do not have sheath and are consider the lightweight of all. Both handle have string woven to them.

Finally the DEMON KING sabre. There are 4 version to them, 3 of them are shown like the picture above with the 3rd being a black box with red line design and the 4th being the regular rectangular shape box like all other releases. The crafting design on the boxes is simply amazing.

The Special Editions is on the left while the right is the Original Editions. They come with interchangeable parts as shown and are quite heavy in addition to the wooden box casing. The Demon King Sabre was later yield by "Nie Fung".

Other 4 Sword and Sabre not in my collections are the SNOW Sabre, Unchallenged Sword, Fire Kirin Sword and the Heaven Sins Sword. Each of the Sword and Sabre have 3 version to them which is the Original, Special and Collector Editions.

Rider Masked Collections : Vol. 8 (Secret)

Yes this is official, the secret masked for Vol. 8 is going to be a Villain mask and it is APOLLO GEIST. Never in a million years that it will be APOLLO, well after 2 villain secret masked release previously (Shocker & Rider Shocker) guess we could have see it coming, just not this soon.

The series was officially release last week in Japan and hopefully will reach our shore soon, cant wait to get this vol, all great masked to collects.

Gloomy Bear by Kaiyodo's Revoltech Yamaguchi is the #073 in line release for this series. For those that have no idea who or what is a Gloomy Bear, here are some of the background taken at Wikipedia.

Not much accessories that came with Gloomy, in the packaging there is Pitty (Pity? i wonder if Mori chooses it because he pity the boy), an extra head of Pitty with difference facial expression, 2 base (1 each for Gloomy n Pitty), a mask for gloomy (similar like for canine to prevent biting or in this case eating.) a coin and a box. Kaiyodo also release an update and size up version of gloomy recently and more pricey too.

Both figure have great cut joint and revolt joint for all posing feature in packaging and more. Downside is, both can't stand on their own, they need the base to stand. Other then that, they looks cute and great .

Transformers - OK?? KO??

When i see these being release, am thinking to myself.. OMG!! the names!. Yes, they are called DISTORTION ANDROID and for those whom know what is it at a glance its DEVASTATOR from the movie TRANSFORMERS : The return of the Fallen.

This set of KO (Knock off) Devastator set is exactly like the original release, good quality plastic with almost similar paint job detail. Selling in set of 9, when you only need 7 to combined and form Devastator and the 2 extra is just extra.

As you can see from the packaging, there is no instruction manual included, just photo of what it will become. Straightly not for them whom do not know anything about The Transformers.

Times sure flies when you are having fun, just a year ago i started with series 18 and now its the 20th release of Medicom's Bearbrick series. With this series, comes something new to the Bearbrick world, a walking Bearbrick and also a secret Bear bearing the 20th release logo. ( see previous post).

Series 20 packaging is slightly taller then the average series as the Basic Walking bear do not sit in the packaging but standing up hence the tall packaging.

Side view of the case packaging with all the bears in the series (minus the secret hidden bear). All the best to all that buying the blind packaging or by case. As for me below is what in my case.

TRANSFORMERS: GENERATIONS 1

After the classic / universe series came to a halt to made way for TF:ROTF, Hasbro now return with some brand new releases this month. Hot on the pegs are the Decepticon Seekers named THRUST. THRUST was previously release by TAKARA TOMY as an Exclusive together with Dirge but now Hasbro has manage to release it as a REGULAR. Does this mean we get to have Dirge out as well sometimes in the future? Those that got the Tomy Takara Exclusive release and pay Exclusive price is gonna be pissed.

Open packaging with manual. Am really liking the color scheme for Thrust, its like a metallic maroon color plus dark gray contrast. Yellow cockpit window and with Chrome Interior.

WITCHBLADE....The Cards..

Comics Trading Card was the norm during the 80's and 90's then came C.C.G. and then they weren't the norm anymore. Still some really good series can be found in some collector's collections. Here are some of the series worth mentioned and its my personal favorites, the WITCHBLADE release in 1996 as by far one of my favorite in my collections. This below is known as the "PORTRAIT" set, a collection of single cards to made up a 9 pc portrait set. Am still missing 2 to complete my set.

This below is known as the "PROCESS" set, each characters is shown as a process from penciling by Micheal Turner, inking from D-Tron and finally to Coloring by J.D.Smith. A process from start to finish. Am also missing 3 cards from this set.

Finally this below is known as the "FOIL-ETCHED" limited Editions Sub-Set CHASE cards set. This is because each piece of the card in this set is produces in limited number and is hard to get. The cards with the Witchblade is made of a special layer of material that have reflective and rough surface to made it look and feel like the Witchblade. Am missing 1 last pc to complete.

Overall its a good set, lots of Micheal Turners art and also some from other artist interpretation of the Witchblade. Sold out long ago and is hard to find now. Good luck.

Stiker is for Batmobile shell on the wheels locations

Here the gimmick, the batmobile is actually a SHELL that comprise of 2 pieces. The mini vehicle is put in between both shell and lock up inside.

Pull back the batmobile with the mini vehicle inside and let it go. It will roll then eject the Batmobile shell and the mini vehicle will runs ahead.

NEW DC's Batman Animated show called Batman: The Brave and the Bold, a classical look to Batman design. McDonald's Happy Meal now offering toys from Brave and the Bold starting from 1st till 28th July 2010 or while stock last. Looks promising enough, cant wait to get my hands on them.

More more and more detail pic for Vol.8 Rider Masked Collections and they looks AWESOME! Gonna have to grab the whole entire set for this vol. There be like 5 from "Blade" series, 2 from "Kuuga", 2 from "Kiva" , 2 from "W", 1 from "Fiaz" and 1 from "Decade". Wonder who the secret will be..??

Some of my favourites from this vol is gonna be FangJoker, Kuuga Rising Ultimate, Kabuki and Dark Kiva rider. From the looks of the pics, Final form Decade can slot in cards to the head, this is interesting. Releasing in Aug 2010, mark your calenders please!.

A Tribute to Michael Turner

2nd Anniversary tribute to Michael Turner

Is one of my favorites comic book artist way back from the 90s together with others like Jim Lee, Marc Silvestry, Todd McFarlane, Kubert brothers, Joe Madueira and many others. Michael Turner started it all for me on Witchblade with his unique penciling style and detailing to each of his drawings panels and design.

Biography:-
Name: Michael Layne Turner
DOB: April 21st, 1971 – Crossville, Tennessee
DOD: June 27th, 2008 – Santa Monica Hospital, California

Before Michael become a professional comic book artists, and become president of his own entertainment company Aspen MLT, he was a pre-med student at the University of Tennessee. Then moving to Aspen, Colorado before graduation, later he moved-on to San Diego, CA, where he taught martial arts (Yes Micheal is a black belt). It was in San Diego that he developed an interest in comics.

In the 1993 San Diego Comic Convention, Micheal met with Marc Silvestry of TOP COW studios and show him his portfolio. One thing lead to another (CyvberForce / Codename :StrykeForce) and before he know it, Micheal was handed his first project titled "BALLISTIC" a 3 issue mini-series.

Right after "Ballistic", he followed up with Witchblade where he co-create, and which quickly elevated his status to a top-selling artist. From there onwards Micheal continue to products some of the top quality artwork in the comics industries.

Later he would debut his 1st creator-owned series called FATHOM for TOPCOW. From here on, Micheal decided to start his own company called ASPEN MLT with his creator owned titles like SOUL FIRE and EKOS

It was in March 2000, that Turner was diagnosed with chondrosarcoma, a form of cancer, in the right pelvis. He was treated at UCLA Medical Center with surgery in which he lost a hip, 40% of his pelvis, and three pounds of bone. The surgery was followed by nine months of radiation therapy.

It was a difficult time for Micheal, his family as well as his company as titles were shipped late and took longer to complete due to Micheal conditions. But all is prevail, Michael manage to everything back on track.

Due to his tight schedules, Micheal only manage to do covers art and mini series or story arc for various publishers like Marvel, DC, Image and other independent publisher. Some of his work for other publisher shown below.

Moose's Mighty Beanz : Collector Case

Now that the new Mighty Beanz has hit the market, how do you the collector store them up for your collections? By getting the Mighty Beanz Collector Case of course. Unfortunately the case only came in one color which is Blue in the local market. The collector case is being sold at most departmental store (except hypermarket).

The case is really plain to look at really, Moose should made them more colorful and more appealing to collector. Once the cardboard packaging wraparound the case has been removed, the case only shown the Mighty Beanz logo at its front only. A handle for collector to carry the case at the side.

The collector case open center side book style to reveal 2 side of the case. Each side is able to hold 25 pieces of the mighty beanz and total of 50 pieces. Basically not enough to store the entire series 1 which contain 100 pieces. The case comes with a sticker sheet with all the names for series 1 beanz for collector to paste onto the case.

Kaiyodo's Revoltech releases a new spin-off series called SCI-FI REVOLTECH which showcase some of the Sci-fi Movie Character such as Godzilla, Aliens, Batman and many more.

The series latest offering #005 is from Tim Burton's The NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS's Jack Skellington. Jack is sculpted by TERAOKA KUNIAKI

This new style packaging with the flip cover is only use for this Sci-Fi series and its very well done. Once the flip cover opens, its show scene from the movie and brief synopsis on 1 side, then on the other side is a plastic window that feature Jack and its accessories.

Jack Skellingtons comes with 5 interchangeble heads with difference facial expression which is suited for all form of pose. Also comes with 3 extra interchangeable hands.

Some of the sample pose and display that the figure is able to perform together with its unique head expression and hand pose.

Once open up, Jack and its accessories are in 2 layer of plastic tray packaging in the box. Jack is 185mm in height and comes with 10 revolt joint at neck, torso, shoulder, hips, knees and ankle.

The 2nd and lower layer of plastic tray packaging houses the Base and diorama for Jack. The base diorama is a Run-down gate with wall and a big tree truck with branches. Hanging from the branches is a pumpkin and a skeleton like figure. While on the gate wall are 2 pumpkins.

This figure is awesome and together with a base diorama, 5 facial interchangeable heads and a reasonable pricing, its a must have for fans of Tim Burton's Nightmare before Christmas.

YES!! finally after 2 years of waiting, the DX Rescue Vehicle is in my hands. In 2008, a TV series of metal heroes was being shown in Japan and in 2009, and is called TOMICA HERO, RESCUE FORCE. The shows is about a special rescue task force with very hi-tech equipment and vehicle to perform extraordinary rescue mission (something like the ThunderBirds in the 70s/80s).

The DX rescue vehicle is a series of vehicle with specific feature and functions like a fire enginee, dump truck, driller, wind blower, shovel and many more. Each of these vehicle is interconnect and can combine with each other to become more powerful or multitask in rescue operations.

The 5 DX Rescue Vehicle in my collections are :
